Indian Vegan Society Celebrates 7th Anniversary!

If you're selling artwork, for example, you might Indian Vegan Society organised a vegan event to celebrate the 7th anniversary of its existence, on Jan 1, 2012 at Sthitaprajna Vegan Centre, Byndoor, Karnataka, India. As part of the event, there was a special lecture by Mr. U.C.Holla on "Ahimsa in Ancient India" and a Hindustani Classical Music (Flute) concert by Mr. Kiran Hegde, Mumbai. In addition to these, Mr.Praveen Kumar of Bangalore was conferred the 'IVS Vegan of the Year award' for his outstanding contribution to Indian Veganism with his 'sticker campaign' in Bangalore. And, of course, there was delicious vegan refreshments.
Prior to the event date, for 3 days, there was a vegan nature camp in which participants experienced yoga class, dance class, visit to a veg beach resort, trekking to a waterfalls, vegan cookery demonstration, etc.
The event was supported by many individuals and businesses including Karnataka Bank, Kusuma Electricals, Karthik Scanning Centre.
